I was upgrading my E61 to latest rom, and just before the end of the process message stating UPDATE FAILURE came up.
Nothing was helping, I was already swearing angry that I will have to take it to the service centre for a repair. But then after searching on the internet I've found a solution.
Press and hold: the green dial button, 3 button, * button and while holding them press and hold the power button. Keep them pressed UNTIL the hands logo will come up. Voila, your phone is running again!! You can try to run the update utility again, that's what I did and everything went fine this time.
Maybe that was posted before here, if so I appologise, I couldn't find it.
