Hi

Is there any way to display on the active standby screen upcoming appointments rather than just the event for today ?

For example display all appointments for a week ahead, if this can't be done is there any 3rd party software that can do this.

Thanks in advance

Does not seem to make any changes.

I have discovered that if you create a new meeting then this will appear on the Active stanby screen but only the next up coming meeting not say for example the meetings for the next 5 days. Also only meetings apear on the Active stanby screen not memos ect they are only displayed on the day they are due.

I suppose the question is : Is there anyway to configure this behaviour ?:con?

Try my suggestion and exchange the To-Do Note Priority to High.. The Note will not disappear from your active screen unless you mark the Note as Done..

I tested my suggestion first before i posted it so please do give it a try..

Yes that does work and also after a reset I found that all appointments that are on the same day are listed. Thanks for your efforts

I note that if you have more than one todo then on the active standby screen they are all displayed together i.e 6 todo notes not done and not a listof all undone todo's

Wirelessly posted (Nokia E70: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.6560/1630; en; U; ssr))

Open the phone built-in calendar application.
Highlight the day you want and click on options, select new entry and select the type of occasion you want;then fill in the various parameters you want and click on done.
It should show on the standby screen;thats if you have the active standby setting enabled.
Though it seems to show for only occasions the present day and the day after.. i think there should be a third-party app that can show for a week or so.

You can try a mobile calendar software called Papyrus. And another one called Aqua Calendar; by Pocket Torch.
See if this helps..

Ok thanks I will install those apps and give them a try.

I have just moved from the pocket PC to Symbian and was trying to replicate the today screen plug in SPB Diary which I used a lot.

On this subject, does anyone know how to remove the calender from active standby. I know how to change the icons but how do you get rid of the bit that always says "No cal. entries for today". As you can tell i don't use this facility so it would be nice to get rid of it!

the calendar is part of the active standy function
(under settings > phone > standby mode)
Turning it off will remove the calendar together with the standby apps...

Is there a way of doing it without removing everything else?
