I have a factory fitted bluetooth system in my Toyota, this system works with my old Samsung D500 ( I can pair and connect).
Trying out my Nokia N80. I can search for a new device.
On the phone it shows that it has found the Toyota .
I input the code from the Toyota ( as I have done with the Samsung).
It then Pairs the device.
But then it cannot connect to the device.
I retried the samsung and no problem.
Any one with any ideas of why this N80 cannot connect.

Running latest firmware 4.0632.0.38
Just tried and it connects to another phone by bluetooth, but like I said it does find the Toyotasbluetooth system. It pairs with it, it is authorised, but when it comes to connect it allways fails.😡
Just a guess, but maybe your Toyota can only be paired with one device?
Tried all that by removing all paired devices and then trying with just one. No Go.
Taking it into Toyota dealers any day now to see what they say, as the sales literature for the Toyota Bluetooth car kit says.....

Future proof if you upgrade your handset. (Provided it remains a Bluetooth compatible Phone)

The car kit was only fitted last September into a new car, and if thats future proof I will eat my hat.😉
