Tomtom problem.

No, not the usual one. I used to be able to search by postcode, then i added the western european maps to my mini-sd, alongside the GB map. Now i've lost the ability to browse or search by postcode. It'll let me enter the first three characters, for instance, CM1, which would put me in Chelmsford (Essex, UK), but where i used to enter the next three, for instance, 3DU, putting me in in a little town just outside Chelmsford, now all i get is the ability to find chelmsford, then i can only search by street.

Any idea why this happened and how to be able to search by postcode again? Its a real PITA right now.

Strange. I have GB & Major Roads Of Western Europe installed and postcode search works just fine. I'll have to think about that one. It's strange that it "half" works.

I figured it out. There is a Great_Britain.Postal file that is (was?) in the zip file on the root. That had gone, i copied it over again from my HD, and all is fine now.
