TomTom 5 not working on 9300

Hi. After having used a cracked version of TomTom on my 9300, I decided to buy the real thing, since I had som problems with the voice direction and the phone did not receive calls when TomTom was in use.

So I did it, I bought the damn thing, and it does not work. According to the install manuel, all I need to do, is to install the SD card and the Icon will appear on my desktop, but it dosn't. The only thing that appears is a puzzlepice with TomTom written on it, but when I try to execute it says: "System cannot find the given object". If I go into the folder "2577" on the SD card, there is a file called "AutoRun.exe" but when I try to run it, it says "there is no program installed to run this file". Same applies to the TomTom Mobile file in the TomTom folder.

Can anyone please help.

Regards
Terkel

So right you are. Thanks. I tried slipping the card into an iPac and bingo, it worked. I contacted the reseller and got a link an a discription on how to replace the software on the card for a Symbian version, and now I'm a happy man again. 😊
