Hi,
this is not really a N80 specific question. but i have an n80 so ummm........
anyhoo,
I received an sms from my service provider. this sms didnt arrive like normal (i.e. arrives in inbox, and my phone askes me to SHOW MESSAGE)
this sms just arrived open on my screen.
my service provider (vodacom) also has an online sms sending site. this has the option to make my sms auto pop-up. same effect. this "auto pop-up" eats up 293 characters of the sms so im guessing its some kind of script added to the body of the sms.
anyone know what this is?
Thanks!
Yeah they're called Flash SMS's. LogoManager for the old 5110 and similar series phones used to let you send them though I've not seen any software for modern phones with similar capabilities.
this app called coolSMS+ for os9 lets u send flash sms messages, the app needs to be signd tho for it to instal......

Good find Biggsy... liking the theme as well (go on admit it, that's why you posted the screenies really isn't it 😊 )... where did it come from?
thanks for the app bigzy. ill have a look at it.
i reckon their must be a simpler solution tho.
if an app can add a script or header to it, surely i can do the same?
