Well,.this is for when your phone was alive and still working.
Sometimes some apps that are installed are corrupted(/get corrupted) so you wouldn't be able to open the app(it'll give some error) or if you use a file explorer to open the folder containing the application;it closes the explorer giving an error. If the corruption was on the memory card ;it'll affect the whole card and any other application associated..so that when you even try to open you App. Mangr it wont open rather it'll give an error.
Since it was on your memory card ,you could have possibly done 3 of things:-
1. If your phone was able to go to data transfer(/usb mass storage mode) when connected to you PC
2. Inserting your memory card into a card-reader.
3. Find an alternative to these two.
For 1&2 ,whichever way would allow you to access the memory card on your PC (seen as a removable drive)..here you can first copy everything on the card to somewhere else.
In the explorer, ensure that the view setting "Show hidden files" is enabled.-This will show the hidden folders on your memory card.
If you know the exact application that is at fault this would be easier. If not, when your phone is on you can open each application(stored on your memory card) one-by-one;the one that give an error msg and closes is likely to be the one at fault.
Ensure you copy everything(both visible and hidden folders) in the removable drive(your memory card) to somewhere else.
Now open the hidden folders shown,.assuming that you know the application at fault,;delete anything with the name of application.(Because of differences in phone;i'm not sure which of the hidden folders will have the applications folder;so i can't say specifically which of the folders to check)
Put the phone back on with your memory card inside and try it if it works.
Alternatively at the junction of copying all the things(both visible and hidden) in the memory card to somewhere on your PC.. You may then format your memory card with your PC,.place it into your phone and re-format with your phone(because your phone may not recognize the card formatted by the PC)..if this phone reformatting works (and all is functioning normally),you can go ahead to replace carefully from your PC each file (you backed up); back into your memory card via a card reader or USB-mass-storage mode.
Try the first one if it works ..
