"IM" Application?

You have to get the proper settings for a "Wireless Village" compatible IM service (such as http://www.yamigo.com or whatever there are). The built-in IM app cannot connect directly to MSN, AOL, ICQ, Yahoo!

Yes, the IM app is for the IMPS protocol...
Has anyone been able to connect to Yamigo.com with this? I set up an account there, have my settings exactly like they have, but still get an error "Unable to connect!"

The built in app is really there for operators to provide their own service some day. It's so they can provide a chargeable service to replace SMS. Operators know IM is in high demand but they also fear it as SMS is a massively lucrative market for them.

If you want IM in the mean time use a 3rd party app for MSN etc (though many also charge).
