Streaming audio

Eh? Do you mean Internet radio streaming OR FM radio? They're totally different things. And no, your smartphone doesn't include an AM radio or aerial....

Good point Steve. I should have said streaming on the internet. On the radio its on AM but they are streaming on the internet. That is where my confusing question came from. So the answer is streaming audio.

I still don't understand what you mean. Your smartphone can stream Internet radio stations with a good data connection, or (if it has one) play FM radio through its FM receiver. That's it. No AM, no medium wave, no long wave etc.

Ok so assuming we are clear that online radio, that is 'streaming radio' is not the same as over the air (OTA) radio: Streaming/online radio doesn't have FM/AM so if it is online radio we're talking about lets just forget about those terms for a second.

If there is a station you listen to that says it streams online then you will need an app that can play streaming audio and you will need the link to the streaming audio, which i assume you will be able to get from the radio stations website (although the link will probably be hidden under a "PLAY" button somewhere) and you will need a phone with network access (Hopefully free, else this will cost you a bomb).

Now without sounding patronising lets start from the beginning; Do you have:

An app that can play streaming radio
A link from the radio station to the streaming radio?
Open network access

(Don't know is of course a valid answer).

Please get back to us with that and we'll see what we can do.

I am sorry, I should have not used the terms AM and FM. I didn't know if it was necessary or not---Sorry Steve.

I will answer those questions that I was asked:
I have Internet Radio
Podcasting
Streaming links---maybe that is what I need to use????
Internet connection
