I have an unlocked vodafone p990i..the phone and all other features have been unlock but there seems to be a problem with the internet/wap setup. The phone still has vodafone wap settings which are locked and connont be changed. When i try to create a new account, the phone doesnt not ask of a connection type...im using a diff connection now and accessing the internet is very important to me plz help.

Don't you have the following options immediately available when you select "New account" (when in menu "Internet Accounts", tab "Accounts"😉:
- Data
- Dial up
- Bluetooth, Internet (PAN)
- Bluetooth, local (PAN)

??

Well, problem solved then, by selecting the option "Data" you'll get a GPRS connection!

The option "Data" uses PS (Packet Switched connection) which is = GPRS (as opposed to "dialup" which uses CS = GSM).

Which address/apn name, username, pw, proxy etcto set is network provider dependent so you must contact your provider (usually available on their website).

bro i got all the info u mentioned my connection even says that gprs attached but when ever i try to connect to the internet through opera its says that connection closed by remote server
