Two Questions :)

Playing around with an E61 and ....

1. Is it possible to get the Wireless Lan Wizard for the E61?

2. Is it possible to have a composite email summary on the standby screen? Normally you can only set one account, and if you have an Exchange account setup, it defaults to that one. I have 4 accounts that I am checking and I am wondering if its possible to have it show summaries of 4 accounts -- the ideal solution would be to have a program that has filters so that only emails that match your filters are shown on the standby screen. Is this possible with any third party applications or tweaking of the settings?

My E61 is:

3.0633.09.04
22-11-06
RM-89

Its not Internet radio, its the WiFi wizard that comes with the N80 that I was referring to.

Anyway, I managed to solve the problem with the hotspot finder application.

You managed to solve the problem? Does that mean you got it to work with active standby? If yes - could you share how?

Thanks,

Mitch.

Sorry, I should clarify.

The Wireless Lan Wizard application from the N80 installed fine on my E61, but the standby plugin wouldn't appear, not even after a soft reset.

So I browsed the 'Catalogs' site and downloaded the HotSpot Finder app; which does the same thing; albeit without the standby plugin. It does work properly on the E61 though, so for now, that's what I use.

Thank you for clarifying. I have the wlan hotspot finder on my E61 working fine - but without an active standby option - was just making sure I wasn't missing out 😉

Wirelessly posted (Nokia E70: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.6560/1662; en; U; ssr))

On the e70,you can set the wlan wizard as an app on the actv standby screen.

Although the Wireless Lan Wizard application is available as a download for all S60 3rd edition devices, its standby screen plugin only works on the devices that have this application built-in (the N80 Internet edition or the E61i for example). So it's normal that you don't see the standby screen plugin on your E61.
