Anyone know of any software that....

Aren't 7650's just great 😃

Been looking on the net, though, as I'm after some new software for the phone, but I can't find any that does the trick - does anyone know of software that does this?

I can attatch a picture to a contact in my phonebook, and I want that picture to pop up and fill the screen when that contact phones me - how can I do this?

Also, I've seen recently that Toshiba have made a Bluetooth Hard drive for use with PDA's and other Bluetooth compatible systems - anyone know if this will be usable with the 7650 either as standard or with an extended file manager? The idea of having that sat in my pocket and being able to use it for massive amounts of storage really floats my boat!

I'm aware of the fact that the Bluetooth implementation on the 7650 is a bit suspicious (you can't use Bluetooth Headsets??!?), but I think it would be an incredible shame if we can't use the Hard Drive....

Anyone have ANY info??

Cheers!

Maybe - but Sony Ericsson phones really do suck. I bought the T68 2 days after it came out and kept it for 1 month before selling it on because it was buggy and rubbish to use as well as being really slow.

Never again. Nokia are consistant with the quality of their hardware - it'd take a lot to get me off Nokias again.

beg to differ, Evry phones of all brand has their own special features.... it suits their targeted market nicely 😃 😃

Yeah the T68 was really slow! But i tried my friends P800, and it's sweet, fast, great resolution, almost perfect! (although nothing's perfect) but this is pretty cool 😊

Sorry guys - I'll have to reserve my judgement until I see one. I'm always impressed with the way they look, but they generally have very serious underlying issues that make them pretty terrible.

Speaking from experience, of course. I'm a producer for a Game Software company that writes some games for Java and Simbian phones.... 😉

Alright! 😊 a producer from a game company! 😃 cool! 😃

Well speaking about games, and the P800, what really bugs me in it is that there's no joystick, not a really nice way of playing games, in my opinion, everything is cool except for the game playing, well sure you can play sim city (hint.. hint 😉 to all software producers 😃) with the stylus, but playing games that require joysticks and buttons are kind of akward don't you think? LIke a Super Mario emulator for instance, would be hard to make him jump and run and fly with Yoshi on board with the stylus. Yeah i know there's a jog dial, but what i'm coming to, is if they make a P800 chat board, (or does the regular one fit on it?) and if the games can use the chat board, that would really enhanche the gaming!

I personally think that a Joystick is a necessity, so you are indeed correct.

If you wanna try one of our games, look on www.monstermob.com - we've just released Manic Miner for all nokias, the best version (of course) being the 7650 version. The joystick is put to good use! 😉

I doubt I can do much about The Sims, though - we're looking to put some cool games on there, though! 😉
