hello guyz im a new to this forum and i have a question that may be asked many time anyway i have a Nokia 6680 and it is a good phone but i think it is time to upgrade so im thinking about the N80 i like the wifi option very much as i need it alot , i will be getting the new internet edition is this firmware version is stable enough is it worth to upgrade to ?

yep its pretty stable, Ive had to reboot to get the wifi working a number of times, but no more (and probably less) than on the standard n80 firmware. upgrading means you can set it up for voip calls, ie free/ very cheap calls over the wifi so yes it is worth upgrading!

That one is the most notorious characteristic of N80 (not necessary a good one) but the one with more number of discussions.
i went from a 6680 to the n80. well worth the upgrade.
yeah i forgot to mention it was the 6680 i was on before my n80, the 6680 was my first smartphone then moving to the n80 was a whole new (better) world again. i still look at the screen of the n80 in ore, and cant believe the difference when i pick up someone elses 6680/n70 etc.
Agree. The screen is very good. Both size and resolution are very important for a screen. But when is necessary to choose between Size - N73 and resolution - N80, I prefer resolution. Is the same fault of new phones like N95... too low resolution:frown:
actually the 6680 is my 2nd smart phone as i owned 3650 before the 6680 and it was the worst phone ever , but it was fun i use one of the 1st smart phones 😊

i bought my n80 yesterday and im very happy with it but i noticed something i want to ask you about it , i noticed that while the phone on the charger the lcd backlight blinks a bit it is noticeable on a white background is that normal in this phone :con?
normal Im afraid, you get used to it, one of the prices to pay for browsing in bed.

Yeah, it charges fast but it drains fast too :P
Congratulations on your new purchase. Please update your firmware, and make sure you browse the 'Download!' application (found in the Internet folder) for some free apps for your phone. You'll need an internet connection for it to work.
