my nokia 1gb miniSD cannot be read in the computer. i reformated it in my phone but it still cant be read. why? how can i fix this? I always used the nokia suite to transfer files, but i recently lost my cable. So i tried to manually copy the files into the miniSD. But when i plugged it in, it stopped and hang. help please. I already tried to format it with my N80 and plug it in. it still wont work

If your phone can read it it must be a hardware fault on your card reader. Try to borrow someone elses or try a card reader on a photo machine. Many card readers that supposedly support mini sd require that you use an sd adaptor
new drivers for you card reader may do it, but i still havent got mine working with my 2gb card (Ive not really tried that hard though)
Is your card Password Protected ? If thats the case, the Memory card wouldnt read oe even recognize the media at all.
Put it back to your phone and make sure the password protection is removed.
