n80 web problem

Hello,
since orange don't seem to be able to help me at the mo, i thought i'd try to pick your brains here at AAS.
My N80 was fine, until last night, when i tried to go onto the web, and it took a long time, so i gave up. I then tried again an hour or so later and i now get the message "web already in use"
Orange tried the normal updates etc, switch on and off blah blah etc, all no good.
Even Handy weather won't update, but there is nothing using the web.

Edit. Handy weather now ok, but other problem still exists

you have 2 solution, you can reinstall software on your phone if you have last firmware.
or you can upgrade to last firmware your n80. there is no other solution for this bug.
bdw. back up your programs and contacts. signed programs on your phone will not work after update !

Thanks hotjay, i had a nasty feeling it might come to that. Oh well off to read all about the latest way, at least it doesn't involve phoenix etc, that was scary and very difficult.🙄

you can use nokia software updater in pc suite, i have same problem like you before month or two. this is the bug in web explorer and i think that problem is solved in last firmware update on all symbian phones 9.1 edition
