I've been using my Nokia 9500 since it first came out. I really don't have much installed with the exceptions of the standard programs that have come with it.
But I was curious what applications you all have installed, and how they work for you?

I notice that you have the OPL programe Editor on your list. Have you developed any interesting OPL apps?

Martin O'Neill
Yes, I have the OPL Development environment (Program), but mainly to learn OPL language. I downloaded the OPL Tutorials and have worked my way through most of them.
I have too many other "side projects" for my emplorer and my significant other to get too terribly much new programming work done.
This weekend I was browsing the My-Symbian forum and came across a reference to the JPC Project--a Java DOS emulator program. I had previous tried XTM, but it doesn't work on the 9300 and the developers aren't interested in tweaking it to work.
If I can get a working DOS emulator running, I plan on putting my old copy of Borland's Turbo PROLOG on the 9300 as I have some programs developed in that language (Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems are a hobby/professional interest) that I'd like to run on the 9300.
So far, I can't seem to get the administrators at that forum to send me my activation email so that I may dialog with the one person who appears to have gotten this to work on a different Symbian phone.
Do you have any programs that you're working on?

The OPL Tutorials may be found here:

as one big zip file which you can put on your PC's local harddrive to make them convenient for reading while you finger-poke the lessons on the 9300.

Thanks for the information. I have used the same tutorials and they are excellent. However, there now seems to be very few people programming in OPL anymore. Its a pity as OPL is great for running up a little app for one's own use.
Best wishes,
