I got the p800 10 days ago. in my opinion it is a wonderful phone but here are some drawbacks:
1- the position of the mic is too bad because it is often that you block it by holding the phone which will let your voice unhearable.
2- it surfs the internet quite well but fails to log to www.hotmail.com ( an error message appears)
3- It does not support send/receive fax.
4- No real player yet.
5- quality of images in indoor mode at night is too bad.
6- no profiles (meeting, outdoor...etc)
7- The option of 'select all' is not available in all cases. i mean if you want to transfer all your contacts to the SIM for example you should make it one by one.
8-only viewer for word, excel... but you cant creat any of them just view a copied one.
Finally dont think that because of these comments its not a great phone no it is the BEST

thanks for the truth on the P800 ,all phones have their ups and downs
P800 is a great device,i wish i had one.Before it was out there was one reason that kept me from thinking that it will be BEST.The software platform (Symbian 7 UIQ) and the price of the development tools.I though that because of the price there wont be many additional apps for the P800 developed by small companies.As time passes i'm prooven wrong.If you read the p800 news section you will see that many great apps for the p800 has poped up allready.Lets just hope not all of them will be buyware 😃

I was realy impressed by the image qualitis of indoor images at night. I got lots of pictures fron pretty dark rooms that got good image quality. It depends a lot of the settings of the camera. You got to remember that theres no flash on the phone and thats its "just" a phone.
But its all about expectations... I didn't expect much....
