I have some questions about posting: what if I'm not sure if it is important enough to put it on the front page? For example, there's a new little board game called Gomoku. Should I just put it in the games section?
When I'm not sure what to do, should I just ask you guys for help in the Admin section?

Post it in the news section. however be sure that nobody has posted it before you. The application you found might be older than you think and somebody might posted it weeks before you. Any new application or news go to the news forum! You can ask if you want anyways!

There are no hard or fast rules about what to post, but its defientely an exception to the rule not to post.

Any new or significantly updated app is a defiente for a news post (so the case you mention certainly qualifies). Basically if you think people will be interested it gets posted. 😊

Feel free to ask anyone for a second opinion, but as I say to all the site admin basically do as you think best. If its really wrong one of the senior admins will say so, but that hasn't ever happened. Each person brings their own style and thing to the team and thats good cause it gives us diversity. 😊
