Pretentious? The N76? Surely not?

New up on the Nseries Arena is an extremely arty video featuring the N76's designers eulogising over the new clamshell's flowing lines and mirrored facets. Warning: after viewing it you'll either want to nominate it for an Oscar or reach for the sick bag...

"It's continuous. You flow from one thing to the next" I suppose that what they mean by that is that they flew from the Motorola V3 to the Nokia N76

Granted though, the N76 is a bit less ugly than the V3. Way to go Nokia!

That's what I was thinking ELP... if Nokia's going to show off about its design skills, why pick the one model which they clearly copied from someone else?

But to be fair, under the bonnet the N76 is a far superior phone to any of the RAZR models, and it's a really good idea to put smartphone hardware inside a fashionable exterior.

Symbian definitely needs devices with stylish casings to sell people the concept of a smartphone, many people who appreciate the added functionality don't actually want devices that look like pocket computers.

Let's hope Nokia is finally able to release an N-Series device that is compatible with in-car Bluetooth kits.

Outside of that, it's a nice phone to look at, but not worth investing in if it cannot integrate with other devices. I've already returned an N80 and E50 for the same reason.

What kind of kit did you use? I know people who use Nseries devices with car kits without problems AFAIK.
