My Nokia 7650 is running on version 3.12 is that bad?

I would like to know how can i upgrade to a later version and what i am missing from not upgrading?

I wouldn't say it's bad, but I would agree that you should get an update, as it has one bug that's not so good, if your memory get *REALLY* full then it may crash.

The long and short of it is, that you will loose all of your data if this happens, so get down to your local NSC and get a firmware upgarde quick smart 😉 😃

It works fine for me. Ive has free memory as low as 400k but usually try to keep it at least around the 1meg free mark for taking the odd picture or email attachment. But if you are worried about the memory problem and your phone crashing then take J2theIZZOs advice and get the firmware upgraded.

i got 3.12 too. nothing bad in it. jus dont push the envelope. i got a error eactly once till date. ne1 got a idea whts the lastest firmware in India (BOMBAY).

I'm wishing for firmware 4.39 with field test .....( which would be a dream) but I might get 3.18 with field test 😃 😃

it's just a dream, field test display is not included in phone sw and it does not even work at all with normal production phones...
