Sometimes when I lock the key pad on my N70 I get a message "System Error" come up, the screen starts to fade and none of the keys will respond not even the on/off button. After awhile the screen goes completely white and reboots without the nokia tune, the key pad is then locked and everything is OK. I've tried to make this happen but had no success, it just seems to do it randomly. The software version is V 3.0546.23 18-11-05 AM-84 which I think is the latest.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Don't know why your phone does that. I suggest update to latest for N70 which is V5.0638.3.0.1 18-09-06 RM-84
Your N70 may be locked to a particular version of firmware which your provider controls. An update may not be possible in that case, until you unlock it using NSS (Nemesis Service Suite) or similar prog and then run Nokia Software Updater.
Afterwards if your phone is still giving trouble then it is possibly a hardware fault and back to the shop.
