PIN2 code rejected !!!! — Nokia 3230 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

[SIZE="2"]hello friends, i am new to this forum and this is my first post.
i am using nokia 3230.

i tried to activate the fixed dialing feature, asked for PIN2 code by the phone, put the code, result is code error (dont know why, i did not changed the default PIN2 code). after some attempts its asked me for the PUK2 code (PIN2 code locked), entered correctly PUK2 code (code accepted), then asked for the New PIN2 code (entered 12345) and verify the code again with the same number (12345), result is CODE ERROR,. i tried many times this way and now whenever i try to change the PIN2 code its gives me "PIN2 code rejected". i am tired after try and try.

can u guys plz help me out on this,
how do i reset the PIN2 code. cause i badly need to activate this feature (fixed dialing).

Try with a 4 digit code. Are you sure that your PUK2 is correct? This code should be provided to you by your network provider.

its a 8 digit number and i cannot try anymore, casue its says "PIN2 code rejected"

Perhaps you've locked you PUK2 also, and in this case the only thing you can do is to request another SIM card with the same number from your network operator.
