N93 Battery drain

When attached to my computer the batterry will drain what am I doing wrong

This Forums is great-----but there are multi acronyms used that I do not understand and if I am in the dark there must be others?
How about a Sticky and just what a Sticky?

The phone does not charge the battery through the USB cable (and if the connection is on, it will use/drain the battery).

If you tell us which acronyms you're not familiar with, I'm sure they can all be explained.
