Hi, I'm new to these forums and they look great!
A few days ago I got the 5500 Sport and I've been trying to put TomTom 6.01 on the phone. Has anyone been using this on phone 5500? I copy the files via the USB cord to the memory card then I disconnect the cord. Nothing happens. According to the instructions it should automatically begin installing the software. But it doesn't. I turn it off then on again and it says "initializing...please wait" and then it disapears... Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it, Thanks

yes somebody please explain how this is done. I too have tried installing tomtom mobile 5 and navigator 6 onto a memory card, then into the 5500. Nothing happens.
