Hi guys,
I got my N95 yesterday and so far I'm *very* pleased with it. My laptop at home is an Apple Macbook running OSX 10.4.9 and I've *mostly* got them playing nicely together:
1, I can use the phone as a 3g modem for the computer
2, I can use iSync to transfer contacts and calender info from Address Book to the phone and vice versa.
Unfortunately theres one last thing I want to do and that one is evading me:
3, Use the phone with Address Book to send text messages, use dialler functionality and so on
Unfortunately I've found almost nothing online about it (unsuprising given the age of the phone) but anyone got any suggestions?
Cheers
Cool, thanks - I'll give that a go tonight
cheers!
At least I would buy but the shop section of the site is down - le sigh!
Have a look at some of the other threads in the forum here, others have created their own plug-in.
All the ones I saw were iSync plugins which allow syncing of data from the OSX Address Book to N95, what I need is something that lets Address Book access it directly (syncing I've already got working) No biggie I'm sure the site'll be back up soon 😊

Rafe, that plugin is for iSync not for the address book, the address book plugin allows you to SMS, Answer/Reject Calls and Dial through your Mac

Shop works for me, at least up until the bit where you add your address
Yeah, just tried now and the shop is back up - give the software a spin when I get home from work 😊
Hi,
I would be very greatful if anyone couls post the config settings in both the phone and in OSX so that I can use the phone as a 3G modem over Bluetooth from OSX. Its one of those do it one and use it for ever things that I am sure lots of people would love to know about. BTW - If there is any specific info I need as a T-Mobile customer I would also be greatful for that also.
Thanks in advance,
Najeeb
