Couple of slider questions...

1) Is there anyway to set the slider to END calls? I answers but does not end them. I would like it if it did!

2) Why is it that when i move the slider down the screen goes into portrait but stays in portrait when i push it back up? i have to push it right up to reveal the number keys to get it back to landscape first. Is this a bug or a feature?

1. I don't think so.
2. This is a deliberate feature. If you think about it makes sense having it this way because then you can use either portrait or landscape in slide closed mode.

I agreee on the slider. I am coming from an N91 where the slider answered and ended calls so I have, several times, slid my N95 closed and then started talking to someone in the room, before realising the call was still active! Fortunately I haven't said anything embarrasing or potentially libellous yet but I need to get used to pressing the red key soon or I'm gonna lose friends!

Yeh its happened to me a few times too.lol i've finished a call and i thought that once you close the slide it ends the calls but it didn't lol 🙄 but i'm getting used to pressing the end call button now so its all good but it would be better if it finished the call when you ended it.

I prefer the slider not ending the call; now I can close the slide and put the phone in my pocket and keep talking.

I would prefer it too, but only if i was on speaker phone or bluetooth like some phones do.
