I can't hear the N80 radio over my bluetooth headset. Does anybody know how to get the radio stream its sound to bluetooth?
The radio works fine when listening over the Nokia wired headset, or over a regular wired headset attached to the antenna extension, or even over the loudspeaker when the antenna extension is attached. But I can't listen to it over the bluetooth headset.
My Plantronics Discovery 655 bluetooth headset works fine with my N80 on every other application; I use it regularly for calls or podcasts. I am running the latest firmware V 4.0707.0.7, but observed this problem already with all previous releases.
The headset is the radio antenna for N80. So, no way to listen radio without the headset.
... but I can also understand why someone with a Nokia headphone cable to act as the aerial may want to still listen via a BT stereo headset.
I have Nokia earphone cut off after the microphone with a standard 3.5mm earphone socket soldered on. I can then use better quality earphones but also use just the cable attached to the phone and then the loudspeaker switched on so that I can listen to the radio in the shower while working away from home. It would be nice if I could use that same cable as the aerial but listen with BT headphones when convenient.
yeah, its a valid point that someone might want to listen wirelessly... its just that they cant 😡
