:con?
I would like very much to know what does do the built-in IM client ?
Menu->Applications->IM
I can not find anything in the user manual and on the forum(sorry if overlooked something).
What should I do in order to make the IM work?
Your answers are very appreciated
Hi,
I was also curious about the built in IM client on the N95. However, I knew I wanted MSN Messenger, so I found a link on a Nokia site for the MSN Client (it was for an N73, but I read it would work on the N95).
I downloaded the sis file, installed it, and guess what: The built-in IM client is the MSN client.
But, I have no clue as to how to set it up. what is the Web address for an MSN messenger server? Is the name of the server important, or can I just call it "MSN Server"? Are there different servers I can use?
If anyone has Messenger working on their N95, can you tell me what the server info is?
Thanks
BR,
Lee
Hi Lee, I suggest you are from HK, because MSN client is not available for any Nokia model outside of China, HK and Taiwan.
And it's no use for European users to take the MSN application from HK support site, because MSN will be blocked as soon as it's detected outside of Asian region.
So, the question is still VERY open what for this built-in IM application? 😊
Anyone from Europe got it working ????
