How to Automate the use of IDD Calling Cards

Greetings,

Does anyone know how to automate the use of IDD calling cards on 9210?

That is, to automate 9210 to dial a local number, get connected, send the access code/pin by DTMF and then dial the actual intended phone number in the contact records. This is possible in Sony/Ericsson T68i.

This is also possible with some real cheap China made programmable desktop phones available in our market today. With 9210 being almost like a computer, I am sure it can be done in 1 way or another.

If 9210 does not support this function natively, any1 knows of an app that can do that? Thanks!

Sean

The only way I have found to do this ( I never found a 3rd party app ) is to creat a contact for the first local number and in the same contact enter the final number. Then with the contact open select Add field and choose DTMF then enter the PIN and # if needed you can repeat this serveral times if needed depending on your setup.

When you want to call, use the 9210 open, for the first number you can then press send DTMF and the DTMF tones your entered under the conact will come up as a list. If you need to make a new call you can press the new call button and the same contact will be listed for the final number, or as in my case you continue on the same call to enter the number you want to ring you can hit send DTMF agian and choose the number from the list if you have entered it before or type it manualy.

I hope you understand what I mean its quite hard to explain some thing through type rather than voice.

I am sure it would be a simple app to right it a shame some one has not I requested it a long time ago but no luck.

I know the solution above is not the best but I find it dose help and save a little time.
