Any ideas what the blue flashing light is on the front of the N73, Ive looked through the instructions but not found out what it is

Turn off the "Sleep mode" in the "Settings" app (in the "Tools" submenu on the phone), and it will go away.

yep the blue light means either bluetooth is on or sleep mode... nokia claims that in sleep mode (saves battery time) the screen looks like the phone is off... the only way to notify the user that its still on is by having the bluelight

Incorrect. The blue light is only to signify that Sleep Mode has been activated. It has nothing to do with Bluetooth.
