usually in my country if we enter the number *126# and call it, we will get the current balance of our prepaid account.. however after i update it to ie version which was recently released , i suddenly lost this function...
any 1 can suggest something to do?

Phone the network provider and ask for another number?
There will usually be a mobile number of a short number other than that one...
