I am really interested in buying the E65 but i have a few q's if any owner could kindly answer for me.
Does the E65 have a dedicated music player?
can the E65's music player support playlists?
Does it support stereo earbuds like the Nokia 5300?
How's the sound quality over the corded earbuds?
Hows the mp3 sound quality through the handsfree speaker phone?
Any batttery life complaints?
Hows the Wifi?
thanx guys.:icon14:
1) The e65 can be used as a dedicated player. I used the Nokia Music Optimizer to compact the MP3 ainto more compact form without any noticeable loss in sound quality. I stored the music on the memry card of the phone.
2) Yes playlist is fully supported
3) Yes...I used a Seinheiser PX250 to test the music and it sounds great. You need an adapter connection (AD-15) for the phone which does not come with one. I got mine from Amazon.com
4) MP3 through phone speakers is a bit hiss, tends to be higher on treble even with the based enhancement. This sound is not stereo.
5) 3-4 hrs depending on sounds, wifi, and video use.
6) Wifi is highly stable and easy to use.
I thought it was stereo!! I would've sworn I heard some distinct stereo separation...
In any case, I have no complaints about sound quality, but the media player is kind of clunky. For some reason my albums will only play in alphabetical order rather than track order. Cumbersome workarounds like creating playlists or editing the file names seem a tad ridiculous.
If you use a stereo adapter (ad-15 or ad-46) you will get stereo output.
