hey iv just bought a nokia n80 off of ebay and i cant wait till it arives 😎 i have never reli heard about symbian before only seen it in some phone spec's. any ways to the point im curious to know what app's u can get for symbian and how will symbian enhance my experiance with the mobile 😉 thanks in advance

symbian is the operating system for smart phones like windows XP is for computers. it is the brains of the phone.
A good starter app is Doom 😊
If you dont already have a memory card and USB reader, grab one from somewhere like:

Download the Doom install file from here and use the USB memory card reader to put it on the memory card:

Dowload the Doom shareware stuff from:
ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/doom/win95/doom95.zip
Unzip the above, and put the Doom1.wad file on the memory card aswell.
On the N80 go to "Menu->Tools->File Mngr", hit right to view your mem card and run the .sisx file you put there to install doom.
Now its installed! You should be able to go to "Menu->My Stuff" and see C2Doom set to play onyour phone!

There is a bunch of apps from live tv to office apps. Gps navigators to a bunch of games and emulators.

also i know symbian is an o.s but whats the differance between symbian and my o.s on my lg u400 ( cant wait to bin it )
