Suppress "allow sim update" when switching with dual sim

Hi

I have an unlocked NGAGE with last firmware, I have fitted a dual sim adapter with 2 sims (vodaphone and orange).

When this is fitted an additiional icon appears "Dual Sim" this switches fine manually between each sim. It does not require a power down, but closes all applications and starts with the new sim.

What I am having an issue with is the Auto switch function which is set to switch every three minutes does not auto switch, the sim.

It comes up with the message "Allow sim update" at which point manual intervention is required to press the OK key.

This is no good as my application (logging cell positions with cellpos) means I always want it to switch automatically.

I note that the settings->device->security->Device and SIM->confirm sim services looks like it should be the place to disable this but this makes no difference.

Any help would be appreciated

Can't help, but am having the same problem with a dual sim adaptor in an N80,
wanting the auto switch to work automatically, without promting, checked the same setting but still prompts.

Let me know if you manage to get it to work and I'll post back if I do.

Regards
