Help Needed with N73 Bluetooth

1 replies · 1,765 views · Started 10 April 2007

Hi,

A search didn't show anyone else having the same problem but I hope somebody out there can advise me.

I am using an N73 with a Nokia BH-800 bluetooth headset and I have an intermittent problem.

Sometimes when I turn on the headset the phone shows that the connection has been made ("BH-800 connected" message) but when I try to make or answer a call the voice signal is not sent to the headset.

The phone thinks that the headset is connected so no sound comes out of the phone but no sound comes out of the headset and the person on the other end of the line cannot hear me either.

This problem seems to occur after I have used bluetooth for something else, e.g. sending a photo to the PC, connecting to a GPS etc.

Is this a common problem? If so is there a work around or a fix? I really need to get this resolved as I spend a lot of time in my car for business.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
