email from wifi

The built-in Messaging app can do it. Add a mailbox and select a WLAN/Wi-Fi access point, instead of an operator's Internet access point.

There are also apps like ProfiMail, etc.

Go into settings > sett wiz > email and you can set up many different email accounts from their quite easily, and once set up in messaging you can then choose it to connect through a wifi connection, and also set up auto mail retrieval if you want to

I have 3 gmail accounts and 1 yahoo account all set up and automatically retrieving mail from the local access points in my city..

yeah, Ive got it set up that way for both POP mail and IMAP mail... works well..

only problem is if closes the mail connection if you exit messaging... 😡
