Transferring messages from 6280 to N80

Hi all,
I've been searching for this with no results.. I've just moved from a 6280 to a N80, using PC suite (latest version 6.83.14.1) I managed to move everything from the 6280 except for texts (SMSs, MMSs). I have some folders on it which I created containing all my messages, and if I look at the SIM messages it's empty. So the PC Suite Backup tool correctly creates a file with all my messages inside (I've opened it with a text editor), but then when I do the Restore on the N80 it takes 2 seconds, it says that it went fine but no message is being copied actually! I can't believe there's still no solution for this problem, I guess a lot of people want to transfer their texts when changing their phones... did I miss something?

Just an update, I didn't notice yesterday that after the failed Restore operation with PC Suite, some messages were present on my SIM card (the one inserted in the N80), so I was able to copy them onto my personal folders, which is my final target. I don't know if they were already there (in the SIM) or if the Restore did something..... I can't find a way to do this.......
