Battery life - GSM vs 3G?

I was wondering if anyone has experimented with running N95 in GSM mode versus 3G mode, and any thoughts of how it affects battery life?

Yes, and it makes a big difference switching 3G off. I can get over a day's use (sorry not done a detailed analysis but some pics, 1hr of listening to music over bluetooth, couple of txts and handful of calls, with a few pages of internet browsing over 3G, then switch it back off again) in simple GSM mode.

I think I will try running in GSM mode, as I don't need to have web access that often...

I just tried GSM web access, and it's not that slow, if looking at mobile sites, e.g. web'n'walk pages or Google Reader mobile.

I've put the Setup page as one of the active apps, so that I can switch between GSM and 3G mode with slightly fewer keypresses - there doesn't seem to be a way to directly jump to the network setup page though.
