Just upgraded my firmware to 4.0707.07 and all is fine, I noticed the different menu layouts etc... problem is, when I restore my settings from the memory card it re-creates the old menus.
Is there any way I can just restore my contacts, text messages and bookmarks? (or at the very least my contacts) and have the new menu layout?
Tried doing it from PC Suite but I can't see how to upload this to the phone..

I haven't tried this myself but...
...in the newest version of PC Suite the backup/restore menu has changed. There are check boxes for messages, contacts etc and one for 'phone specific settings'. I'm wondering if you can do what you want by unchecking this box before restoring the backup.
Another way would be to restore the phone contacts from Outlook and not use the Nokia backup.
With new PCSuite that is possible. But also, that new PCSuite works very badly with N80 and N73, and creates lots of errors. But, try to do that. Another way, if you have another Symbian Phone, is use the transfer application, and transfer only the things you want.
