Hope you can help me....still trying to get used to the phone..
Anyway question:
1. I have tried to install Nokia Maps onto my device and it says update error?
2. When the GPS is on the screen it keeps going dark and I can't see, any idea how I can keep it bright all the time?

PS...replacing my phone as the slider is rattling and is annoying !!
You don't need to install mpas - its already there. If you're talking about maps then you need Nokia Map Loader (from www.smart2go.com)
If your navigating somewhere there's an option to keep the screen on otherwise no (although you can extend it in settings). Having the screen on all the time drains the battery quickly. You can probably get third party software that does this - SpotOn springs to mind.
many thanks, yes i want to download onto my memory card as it costs to download as you are using data transfer and on vodafone this is pricey!!
the screen is fine on the GPS as it is plugged into the car so battery not an issue....
