the problem that i am facing is that i cant connect to the internet using my phone as a modem...
and im facing this prob after reformatting my hd...
ive installed the latest ver of pc suite (6.82.22.0) as well.
but when i goto connect to internet it gives me a error saying failed to connect to the selected device..
my phone is connected to the pc though...
i can do everything else but use the internet..
ive spoken to the nokia ppl also but they coudnt help me...
wat should i do...
Try updating PC Suite to 6.83 and your firmware to V 3.0705.1.0.31
The upgrade of phone firmware is OK. But PCSuite, no. Last version 6.83, have more problems then solutions. To see how many, just go to Nokia site - Discussions. So keep for now, 6.82. Try only uninstall all, clean registry, and install again.
ive tried doing a clean uninstall and reinstalling it..
but still dosent help...
i just upgraded my phone firmware..
also did a clean install of pc suite 6.83..
now it says that no modem found...
im trying to connect to the internet using the one touch acess in pc suite...
As I Already said above, don�t use 6.83... give more problems then solutions.
When you use the Connect to the Internet part of PC Suite, are you sure you set it up for your carrier?
It defaults to 3 in Australia.
