Good morning,
I've just got a Nokia N95, it's my 1st new phone for a good 5 years, it's a whole new world to me at the moment, so please forgive me if I ask any stupid questions, I'm still learning.
I'd like to turn off the start up tune. You know when you turn on the phone and it does that Nokia handshake thing then plays that "diddleun dun dun" tune? Can I turn off that tune?
I'm sure it's obvious, I just can't see the woods for the trees.
Also, if I wanted, could I change that little tune to something else?
Thanks for your help,
Kieran
as far as i know you can't turn off or change that noise.
The best you can do is to turn your phone onto silent/vibrate before you turn it off. Then it doesn't make the noise when you turn it on.

You can turn the tone off. If you go into profiles, you can turn off "Warning tones". This will stop the start-up tune.
Ach - of course. I so nearly tried that.
I guess that turns off other noises too? Does it turn off the noise that tells you when your battery is low aswell? (I see that as a warning, no?)
Thanks for your help guys!
Aye, it turns off all warning tones.
The start-up tone.
Any error or lack of connect, etc...
And of course the battery low beep.
