I think he talk about N80 / N80ie... Remove back cover, remove battery and read the name on paper glue inside.

But will the firmware version not also tell you which version of the N80 you are using, since the newer firmware makes it IE??

Mine was a N80 normal, now it's IE, so the sticker on the back does not tell me the correct info.

Not exactly! It still be an N80. What happens now, is the firmware from N80 is the same as N80ie.

yeah, it was an N80.. then an N80ie, now back to a normal N80 😉
