In the Settings/General/Positioning/Positioning Methods

Their is an option for network based poisitoning if i leave this on will this use GPRS to download information (Cost me money) or does it not do much. Its turned off on my phone should i enable it?

It doesn't do anything, if your network (operator) does not provide network based positioning data (doesn't support LBS, Location Based Services).

When it works, GPRS data is transferred. Don't know how much (my network doesn't support the service).
