IP passrtrough enabling for an E62

As many people here know, E62 comes with IP passtroguh feature disabled, is ther any way to enable it via firmware upgrade?:con?

even in the user guide it is included, but it also includes an addendum that says "we sorry for any inconvenience that IP Passtrough mentions on this manual may cause to you, this function is disabled at your phone"😮

Yes, there is a way to enable it via firmware upgrade, but the pre-requisite is for Nokia first to release an update firmware version with it enabled (unlikely to happen, unless the network operator(s) in the US who wanted it disabled want it to be re-enabled).
