Hello,

I may have missed a trick here but I can't seem to work out the below ?

Under the video center I have added YouTube. When opened it appears to download a selection of random videos.

Is there anyway to specify a feed for the video's I would like to see - ie my own on youtube etc.. .?

Thanks

Mark.

The video center seems to only show selected YouTube videos. The phone has not support for actual YouTube format videos. There is (or was) the TinyTube service, though, but I haven't checked if it is still around.

That's the thing - I havnt added any feeds in ? As far as I can tell the videos shown are random ?

Is this the case ?

hi mate
i have had the same problem and even the videos that automatically come up in the video center are not working for me
the video looks like its loading all the progress bar goes red but then nothing
i think you have to add the feeds like it says on the youtube site by subscribing to the user but i couldnt work that out either
not sure if anybody else has worked it out because nobody seems to be able to explain in any detail

choppy69 - are you on T-mobile? This seems to be a problem for T-mobile users. Those viewing on other networks or over Wifi, don't seem to have the problem.

T-mobile are clueless and don't know what to do about it.

I'm sim free but on the T-Mobile network, and this is consistent. The videos dont load and play over 3G, but do fine over WiFi. The fact this happens on a Sim free phone would back up it's potentially a network issue rather than anything resulting from network customisation.

Has someone on other networks had the YouTube videos working over 3G (rather than Wifi)? Can we have people confirm what networks they're on to check this?

The streaming YouTube Videos work fine on Vodafone so maybe thats one thing they haven't crippled on the phone.
You are not supposed to stream video on the standard TMobile Web and Walk so maybe its blocked on purpose.

I am not on the standard web and walk so I shouldn't be blocked. Also T-mobile seem to have removed streaming restrictions from the T&Cs for basic Web And Walk as per their website.

I can stream You Tube from a PC using the N95 as a modem, so its not fundamental to the T-mobile network in the sense of all videos being crippled. It seems to be an interaction of the phone with its current firmware and the network.
