When your phone hangs, crashes (whatever you want to call it) have you noticed that when you restart your phone, you battery level has ridiculously decreased???
Eg. I had a full battery strength. I was playing around with the Goboy. It hung. I switched the phone off then back on, then my battery signal only had 3 bars.
What's this shit Nokia? Are you using our 7650's to power your factories through some power draining technology we've yet to discover? :P
Yup, I noticed that. Couldn't explain why, and just thought this was normal. Glad to know I'm not alone, but it doesn't explain why though 😊
Oh, and I thought the new battery I bought was faulty...

same goes to me ... I think the power consume to reboot the phone is enormous hehe 😃
That's is why your battery have to be full charge or plug in the charger module when you hard reset your phone also.... same theory

After the phone crashes,reboots,and you reboot it again,sometimes i get some of the missing bars back 😃

Maybe because Nokia feels guilty about draining your battery and use that unknown technology I was talking about to transfer it back to your phone :P 😃
i was on a call and playin bounce with full battery, 23 mins. down my whole battery was drained. are those 1000 MAH batt. worth buyin then or its just the thirsty 7650 ?

LOL LOL !! Its got to be that. May be there's a third (Hidden) interface..apart from just BT and IR. Its MW (Microwave) through which energy can be transferred!!

I think that is only a software problem, that simply don't update
the battery charge bars graphic too offten...
The reboot simply update again the charge bars on screen...
Any apps consume battery, while more millions of instructions per second
(MIPS) for the CPU ... more battery request...
If you simply use the 7650 like any other cel phone (not many: sounds, games, cam, gprs connection, etc.) you will actually see that your battery will keep the charge just fine.
We need to remember that...
While are you in home and you like to play games or connect by GPRS, there are many things that you can do simply pluged to the charger...
I am sure that not many people use the Battery of their laptops if they are at home. 😉
The special feactures of 7650 are simply accesories that you can use when you are out your home for a while, but the main feacture still been a CELPHONE. And the Battery was build with that primary idea in mind.
Anyway ... the battery tecnology will be better while the request for them is bigger... i am sure that soon we will buy better batterys (with more power and more durabillity and same size).
By now i am happy with i can do with my Nokia 7650, we have to learn
how to save power, don't use the battery if you really don't needed...

Just if you don't know...
If you recharge the battery of your 7650 not on standby mode...
but totally OFF mode... i mean.. turn off your 7650 and then plug it
for recharge (when you go to sleep for example), at the next day
you will have the better charge you can get it for your battery.
Other tip ... is better to charge the battery from CERO Charge to
TOTAL (max charge) ... using the TIP Above...
This are not really new tips.. are the same recomendations for all
batterys that are rechargable... and still working with this batterys
