Firstly a Happy Year to all 9210 users. 😃

Over this very relaxing festive period i've been converting 100's and 100's of nim videos for the 9210. and i'm not just talking about mpeg videos, but any format you want! 😃 😃 😃

WMV to AVI to MPEG to NIM = 100's of new videos. 😃 😃 😃

As you all know that ever so poor  Nokia  pro mmc only converts mpeg files, so i've found a few very helpful programmes that convert any file to mpeg, which is totally fantastic. 😃 😃 😃

So you to can convert any clip you want to nim format, 😃 it is a timely process 😞 converting to WMV to AVI then to mpeg this usually takes about 40 minutes for a 40mpeg clip, but its well worth it,if you desire the videoclip on 9210i, then about another 10 minutes to nim format.

I have 100's of F1 clips now, totally sensational clips, it made my Christmas/ New Year totally FANTASTIC! 😃 😃

Anyway the PROGRAMMES ARE CALLED:
BLAZE media 😃 :

The conversion rates settings:
1. Output= Windows Audio Video
2. Video Codec= Microsoft MPEG-4 Codec V1
3. Audio Codec = MPEG Layer-3

This programme converts the clip into avi format.

Then you need to use:
FX Mpeg Writer 😃 to convert to MPEG from AVI

Then once converted to mpeg convert to nim.

Actually I'II add links to the sites for these programmes later, there not that expensive, well worth the money!

BOY I am a very happy chappy! 😃 😃 😃

😮 what? so let me have all those software to convert any mpeg/avi to nim format please.... 😃 😃 😃

Tons thanks, Bali island

Here is the links below for Avi to Mpeg conversions:

As before the settings which I used are above, any quaestions do not hesitate to ask.

HAve fun converting! 😉 😉 😉 😉

Is there a reason you don't just use Blaze to go directly from WMV to MPEG? I don't have my copy yet but the web page seems to indicate that it could do that. Also, which MPEG does the MMC need to convert to NIM? Is this just standard MPEG1 or can the MMC convert one of the newer standards to NIM? Thanks for helping out a newbie.
