symbian update version? posible?

hi guys
im new to nokia and smartphones, i use SE
im gonna get an N90 a S60 2nd ver.
and im wondering if i can update it to 3rd version
any way posible... geting into the filesistem( if its posible like with SE)
or if there is a big diference in the versions...
or betwean version 8.2 and 9.x (the symbian versions) and if i can update this

im curious because i like the get the most from my phone 😃

Symbian/S60 upgrade: No.

Filesystem access: Yes ( FExplorer from http://www.gosymbian.com ).

You can reformat the phone memory, but that just resets it from ROM.

You can reflash it with a new firmware version, but that'll be the same Symbian/S60 version always.
