Hi there, does anyone know how to permanently store wireless network keys? I use 6 different ones regularly and I have even defined each one and added the correct key when it wanted it, however when I use an internet application and scan for a WLAN and it finds one I have defined, it still asks for the key, this is really annoying with older WEP access points as I have a 26 digit key to enter every time I access the net.
Store WEP keys???
your wep keys should be stored with your access point in TOOLS > SETTINGS > CONNECTION > ACCESS POINTS > OPTIONS/EDIT on ACCESS POINT > WLAN SECURITY SETT. > SHARED KEY
If you define an access point with for each key/place it should ask you to reinput it.

Cheers bud, that has done the trick. I always find that the settings you need are in the strangest places on this phone. Why can't all of the wifi, connections and other settings all be under one place like on a proper OS like Windows, Linux or OSX?

Actually it hasn't, I was kidding myself. It works for the web browser now but if I try to use other applications like the catalogue, it still asks for the key, I hate this phone so much.
like the catalogs? You mean in 'download!' ???
What version of firmware you on? *#0000#
Do you have your net connections set to 'always ask'?
